One of the most famous trek route in the state is Goechala trek. You can view the world 3 rd largest highest mountain from Goechala. The trek activity in this place is start from Yuksom. You need at least seven to eight days to reach at destination and come back to the source again. This journey is initiated with heavy forest area and end with rocky mountains. Singalila Ridgeis the seconds well known Trek center which is on the India-Nepal boarder. You need at least twelve days to trek at that location. It is not possible for individual to go for trek on their own. Only under the guidance of authorized trek and tour companies, visitors are permitted for Sikkim trekking in a group.
Not only in Sikkim, but in various place of India there are many beautiful places that are famous for trek and adventures trips. In Ladakh, the most popular Trek area is Markha Valley. From this valley, you can view Kang Yatze mountain, which is about 6400M. You need about ten to twelve days for Marka valley Trekking. Obese people are not permitted to climb high peak.
